Dr. Daniel Zeiss

On a Saturday in 1974, I was born as the oldest of 2 brothers in Göttingen.

I graduated from the Insel Gymnasium in Burg auf Fehmarn in 1994.

From 1996 to 2004, I studied Human Medicine at the Georg-August-University in Göttingen, Universidad de La Laguna in Tenerife, Spain, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham in the United States (USA).

In 2004 I received my license to practice medicine.

This was followed by positions as a resident at the University Medical Center in Surgery and Medical Informatics.

In 2005, I received my doctorate in medicine from the Georg-August University in Göttingen.

This was followed by a residency in internal medicine and occupational medicine.

In 2007 I received the additional title of Medical Informatics.

In 2009 I was appointed as a specialist for occupational medicine and received the certificate travel medical health consultation.

Since 2010 I have worked in the international insurance industry. First at the Hannover Re SE. As part of this job in the life sector as a Medical Consultant and later as a Senior Medical Consultant, I was able to work with my family for two years in Florida in the USA.

I studied at eCornell University in the USA and graduated with a Plant-Based Nutrition certificate. Through the challenge in my job and the integration into a new culture, my interest in therapy of the psyche and soul was born, and I started to attend courses and trainings.

Back in Germany, I then worked at E+S Rückversicherung in property insurance.

In 2017, the Medical Association of Lower Saxony awarded me the additional title of Nutritional Medicine, and I completed the training to become a certified Peak States Therapist at the Canadian Institute for the Study of Peak States.

In 2018, I moved from reinsurance to the primary insurance industry and worked as a department manager at Süddeutsche Krankenversicherung.

In 2019, I started working as an occupational health physician for a large private clinic in southern Germany and began my German psychotherapy training.

For further training in psychotherapy, I then moved to a large psychiatric hospital in northern Germany, where I continued and successfully completed my training for the additional title of psychotherapy.

From 2020 to 2021, I trained as an Inner Unity therapist.

After more than a decade of experience in professional coaching (since 2012) and comprehensive therapeutic training, I established my own private practice as a physician psychotherapist and occupational health physician in Hanover in February 2022. In December 2023, I opened a second practice location in Frankfurt am Main.

The stations of the last years go hand in hand with research in the field of trauma therapy, subcellular psychobiology, and psychoimmunology and the development of a mentoring and personal development offer for the group and individual setting.

I speak the languages German, English, and Spanish.
